Do I need WooCommerce?
CarRentory works independently in WordPress. You can manage your rental fleet and accept bookings without installing WooCommerce.
Can I use Free without buying Pro?
Yes. Free provides a standalone workflow for fleet availability, rental bookings, offline payments and basic administration. Pro is an optional add-on for advanced commercial tools.
How do I install CarRentory Pro?
Keep CarRentory Free installed. After purchasing through Freemius, download and upload the Pro add-on ZIP, then activate your license when prompted.
Which payment methods are included?
Free includes Pay on Arrival and Bank Transfer, using the normal booking-request button. Pro adds Stripe Checkout, signed-webhook payment updates and paid-amount and balance tracking. When Stripe is selected, the button becomes Continue to secure payment and opens secure Stripe Checkout. Paid and Confirmed are different: automatic booking confirmation depends on the Auto-confirm paid Stripe bookings setting. PayPal is available through the separate CarRentory PayPal paid add-on, which requires core 1.1.0 or later and works with Free or Pro.
Can I use it for scooters or motorbikes?
Yes. CarRentory can be used for cars, scooters, motorbikes and similar rental fleets, depending on your website’s setup.
Where do I manage my license and downloads?
Use the Freemius Customer Portal to manage licenses, renewals, billing details, invoices and downloads.
What does product support cover?
Product support covers installation, setup guidance, bug reports and compatibility questions. Use the support page to send us the details of your issue.
Which currencies can I use with Stripe?
CarRentory Pro supports all currencies in Stripe’s current presentment-currency list, with correct handling for zero-, two- and three-decimal currencies. Actual availability depends on your Stripe account country, enabled payment methods and Stripe’s restrictions. Follow the Stripe setup guide before accepting payments.
