Cookie Policy

This page explains how 2o2code.com uses cookies, session storage, analytics and links to third-party services.

01

Overview

How this website uses cookies

The main 2o2code website runs on WordPress. It does not provide public website accounts, a custom checkout or a self-hosted customer portal.

We keep the website lightweight and serve fonts and Bootstrap Icons locally. WordPress may use essential cookies on its login and administration screens, while the public website uses session storage for the cookie notice and may link to third-party account or licensing services.

Cookies And Similar Technologies

Cookies

WordPress uses essential cookies on its login and administration screens. Regular public content pages do not require WordPress login cookies. Comments and public registration are disabled, so comment-author cookies are not used.

Session storage

Session storage is browser storage that normally lasts until the current browser tab or session is closed. We use it to remember that you closed the cookie notice for the current session.

03

Website Notice

Cookie banner preference

When you close the privacy and cookie notice, the website stores a session-only value named two2code_cookie_notice_closed.

This value is used only to keep the notice closed during the current browser session. It is not used for advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking.

04

Analytics

Umami analytics

We use Umami to understand general website usage. Umami is loaded from cloud.umami.is.

Umami states that its analytics script is cookieless. It helps us understand page views and general traffic without using advertising cookies.

05

Third-Party Services

Freemius

Purchases, payments, licenses, renewals, downloads, invoices and customer portal access are handled through Freemius. If you open Freemius links, Freemius may use its own cookies or storage under its own policies.

Demo website

Links to the CarRentory demo open a separate website. That website may have its own technical, analytics or functional storage depending on its setup.

Mailchimp product updates

The product-updates form sends a request to a same-domain endpoint and keeps you on the current page. The endpoint sends the email address to Mailchimp server-to-server. The form does not load a Mailchimp script, iframe or stylesheet and does not create Mailchimp cookies or browser storage.

Double opt-in is enabled for the Mailchimp audience. After you submit the form, Mailchimp sends a confirmation email and completes the subscription only after you follow its confirmation link.
